D-Mannose 1-phosphate exists in all living species, ranging from bacteria to plants to humans. In yeast, D-mannose 1-phosphate is involved in the metabolic pathway called the mannose metabolism pathway. Based on a literature review a significant number of articles have been published on D-Mannose 1-phosphate.
