General FunctionInvolved in inositol trisphosphate 3-kinase activity
Specific FunctionHas kinase activity and phosphorylates inositol-1,4,5- trisphosphate (Ins(1,4,5)P3) and inositol-1,3,4,5- tetrakisphosphate (Ins(1,3,4,5)P4). Has low kinase activity towards InsP6. Originally it was proposed that the ARGRI and ARGRIII proteins are more likely to be involved in the control of ARGRII activity
